What keeps dudes from talking to/approaching girls?

I was at a street festival a couple weeks ago and there were tons of hot guys.
What kept you from going over and talking to a hot guy?
Because I shouldn't have to.
For the record, even though my opinion doesn't count, that answer is *****.
Mind you also... a lot of guys aren't interested in a girl that just goes around flinging herself at any hot guy she sees... especially in a huge crowd of people. But when a dude is clearly, turning around and pointing you out to his friends, what keeps him from saying something?

(I may not say something to a guy because I didn't notice him myself, but would be interested in talking to them if I were approached)

You know, I've been a vendor at a fair number of fantasy conventions where I wear a corset, which naturally makes one stand a lot straighter, and there's just that added 'attitude' and confidence that comes when you aren't slouched over or forward.

Of course, I'm not sure if I get hit on for the posture or the ample cleavage, though.

Maybe you had a boogie hanging off your nose.

Any guy doing that, IMHO, is just a schoolboy. If you want boys, well...

Wouldn't you like your kind of guy to be just a little bit more suave? Act with a certain amount of class?

I could answer that, but sometimes self-censorship works better.

Same reason some women (nobody here, as far as I know) won't admit they're stuck up, two-faced bitches. And no, you won't find any smilies here no matter how hard you look.

I gotta call "BS" on that one. You want the attention, what's to stop you from going over and saying hello? Pride? You want to be treated as an equal, sometimes you gotta do the unexpected.

That is, unless you were afraid of striking out.
