coral reefer band member (former)

I was in Dana Point Ca this weekend and ran into a guy in a bamboo everything shop who claimed to be a former Coral Reefer Bank member, by the name of Corkey Seigel. Any info on this guy?

Interesting, the Corky Siegel I've heard about is a Blues Harpist from Chicago and not to bad at all.........

Don't recall him being with the reefers.........

I googled him---lots of interesting sites, but so far, nothing about being a Reefer.

The closest I came to finding a connection was one artcle that said.... "Buffett sounding voice".... whatever that means.

However... in the early 90s my Godparents son David , an excellent drummer decided to try his hand at the biz... had the dream about heading to Key West and becoming a reefer. He spent 6-7 mths in KW and actually got in to be a studio musician @ Shrimp Boat Sound which led to a 1 night gig with the man himself!

He also joined some other guys and did the South Florida night club circut for awhile. Nothing came out of it long term and family and $$ obligations sent him back north... but he can always say he was a Reefer.... once anyway!

Maybe this holds true for this guy...
