There is always the Sunday drum circle on the beach... I can check into the rest of the area for you. Where exactly are you staying and I will try to come up with a sports bar... all I can think of now is the Hooters on Clark & US-41

What more do you need? :D

They do the drum circle here along Treasure Island too...pretty neat.

One place I have on my list to visit someday is the Ringling Ringling Museum of Art

I had to chuckle a little with the Support the Ringling option...it's called "Ringling Now and Forever"....

I have been a few times... the grounds are beautiful. I am currently attending classes at USF Sarasota which shares grounds with the museum.. a wonderful place for a campus!

Thanks, for all the info, I'm staying with a friend right by Bradenton Beach. I feel in love with the Siesta Key Area. Capt. Curts was great, they had a frozen mango/151 drink that we couldn't stop drinking.

Heck, if you are at Bradenton Beach, there is RJ Gators right on Cortez, or Shells or the Beach House or the Sand Bar.....Plenty of spots right close by, though I do agree that Siesta is one of a kind.....

I've never been to KW, I'd love to go this Jan/Feb, I’m usually pretty fed up with snow by then. How is the drive from Miami area?

Well if you've never done it - you need to do it at least once.........I've done it about a dozen times - now it just cuts into my partying time down there   It really is a beautiful drive and if you're not in any hurry to get there - there are numerous stops along the way you can make :D

I agree... there is tons closer to your home base... there is even a Hooters in Bradenton!! The Sarasota one is quite a drive! RJ Gators is a fun joint! The Banana Factory is right there on Cortez close to the beaches... hmmm... I need to go out!
