New meat here, be gentle....

I "plundered" tickets for tonight's show, in section F, the Diamond Club.

The Diamond Club is a section right behind home plate, and has a special area under the stands with catering, etc. I have not heard what Diamond Club amenities will be available.

Anyone have info on what special stuff will be open/available as ticket holders in the Diamond Club?

Can't wait til 8!! Phins up!!

Cheers, Tom

Hi -

I am new to the site - I am also going tonight to Citizens Bank Park and am also in the Diamond Club but in section E, row 8. I had heard the Diamond Club does have the nice seating, access to the club and in seat service but am not sure myself what the "amenities" are. Hey, if they can bring me the margarita and I don't have to get up and stand in line, great! I wonder if there is anything online at the Citizens Bank Park website.......I'll check and see what I can uncover.

Working to 5PM today - hopefully I roll in there about 7 or so - can't wait!!

Here is the info I am finding so far:

The exclusive Diamond Club, featuring over 1,120 extra-wide, padded seats, is located behind home plate and offers unparalleled sightlines along with an amenities package that includes in-seat wait service. Members have access to the Clubhouse Lounge that features a pre-game buffet, upscale concessions, two full-service bars and views of the indoor batting cages used by the Phillies and their opponent.

I found the stuff on the web as well, but it talks about Phillies games not religious experiences like tonight!!

I was hoping that someone who was an original Diamond Club ticket holder could jump in and give us firm details. Such as: will the Diamond Club be open to serve beverages and sell t-shirts before/during the show?

I guess I will have all the answers tomorrow, while my liver tries to heal...

Thanks.

Cheers, Tom

Tom, you're gonna fit right in here

Seriously though, because this is the first ever concert at CBP, I don't think anyone will know what to expect until they get there. I've never been to the Diamond Club level, I've only ever been to the Hall of Fame Club level (a/k/a the VIP Lite level) but I can tell you that the accomodations are very nice (especially the bathrooms).

Be sure to log back on tomorrow and give us Saturday peeps a review!!!

Hi all -

A friend at work has a brother in law who is a batting coach for the Phillies. I went downstairs to ask her about the Diamond Club tonight (I've never been) and if she had any info. She called the business office manager of the Phillies who is there now at the park. The info she relayed was that because this was not a Phillies sponsored event, not all the amenities would be available but the DC itself will be open to get drinks, food and yes, the bathrooms too!

My friend said the food & drinks in the club are a little more but worth it because the food quality is great and you don't have to go back to the main entrance and battle the crowds.

Apparently in seat service is for rows 5-9 (I am in section eight) but they are unsure if that will be available tonight - maybe, maybe not but I think the access to the club is definitely a plus, especially for souvenirs, etc.

I promised my 3 year old I'd bring him back something - we had Sirius on last night and the two of us were bouncing around the apt. jammin' to Buffet.

Also, not sure if this helps, but if you want to park in the lots closest to home plate and not have to sit in the traffic where most folks drive in, she said to go past the Broad Street exit to the next exit - it will say Last Exit Before Bridge. You'll hit a traffic light at the bottom of the ramp when you exit, go straight thru to the next light and turn right. The lots closest to home plate are near the Link where the Eagles play (good landmark as I know it will be chaos down there tonight).

Hope this helps and maybe I'll see you guys there :P

Thanks! All good information.

So we have a short line to get food and drinks, have our own bathrooms, and get to see Jimmy!! I think I can work with this.
