I am familar with it and saw Buffett's name on it but I've never heard it.

Among the standouts: Harry Stanton as the dryly laconic narrator, downtown filmmaker Jim Jarmusch as the Duke (Thompson's alter ego), Buck Henry as a sinister desk clerk, and Spinal Tap's Harry Shearer as a fatuous police chief. This was recorded before Terry Gilliam's 1998 film version with Johnny Depp, and in some ways it's even more faithful to its mad, visionary source material.

That's got quite a line up! Half the cast of the Simpsons is on it.
