It's his choice, let him go!

Why is it that when someone on death row goes on a hunger strike, the courts force feed them? I say, let him succeed. Think of all the tax dollars saved if he just kind of whithers away without our help. He's saving us money right now by not having to feed him!
Before the bleeding hearts say that I am cold and callous, remember that this piece of sh!t shot people from a shooter's platform in the trunk of a car. That is a true coward. Regardless of your stand on capital punishment, it is legal right now and if
anyone deserved the death penalty, this guy's the poster child.

Sheesh. For once I'm with ya Y-NO.
I guess I don't understand why this guy doesn't have the right to protest (no matter what a wickedly evil person he is) and starve himself.
I don't get it either...and my pendulum does plenty of swinging to the left.

Suicide is illegal. He's already in jail for killing people.

Suicide is only illegal if you don't succeed!

Nope. Just unusual.

Right. And now he is attempting it. By force-feeding him, they are simply stopping him from committing a crime....attempted suicide.

Sheesh... me too, kinda. I do find it a bit bizarre that he's going to that extreme just because he wants better food? I would think the motivation to go on hunger strike would be for a much more dramatic cause.
There have been a lot of noble hunger strikers throughout history, but this doesn't really seem to be one of them.

Ghandi didn't hunger strike where suicide is illegal.

Totally.
Hell, if that were the case, my kids would be on hunger strike for having to eat what I cook. Our saying at home is, "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit."
And if it's really bad, "Screw it! Let's order a pizza!"

But protesting was!

I know. I thought of that after I posted it.
Let's just say as a person NOT accused of killing a multitude of people, I feel I have the right to screw it and order pizza.
EDIT: But it's gotta be REALLLLLLLLLY bad. Like the time I forgot to add water to the instant mashed potatoes.

I'd SPEW at that, but just thinking about it is drying my mouth out!

He want a hunger strike .then let him starve for a few weeks ... takes a long time to actually starve to death.........unless someone wants to feed him about 125 grains of copper plated lead jacketed hollowpoint.
He murdered innocent people and caused so much pain and horror for so mny families and children...I have no problem with his death.... but wait until the last minute and take his life from him when he least expects it to happen...he wants to think he is control...
I remember last year, some the G-8 protestors that got aressted went on hunger strikes because they would not give their names to the police. If they did so they would be released or something like that...it was too funny how the corrections officers said the trays came back clean....and there was no one they could give the food to either cause they were locked and fed in their cells...The media piped down about the bozos being on a hunger strike not long after that.....and the bozos were released within a week or so...
