Philadelphia CD
Hey I know there is a Fenway CD/DVD coming out soon. Do you think there is any chance of Jimmy putting a CD of either of the Philly shows?

Re: Philadelphia CD
I would be willing to bet the deed to my house that the saturday night show will be on a CD, the question is just when. That was such a great set list!!!Parrothed71 wrote:Hey I know there is a Fenway CD/DVD coming out soon. Do you think there is any chance of Jimmy putting a CD of either of the Philly shows?

There was a rumor circulating a while back that they would be doing something with the LTC tour that they did with the Tiki Time tour (ya know, we got like 5 shows from that). I haven't heard anything for a long while though...Parrothed71 wrote:Is Mailboat even thinking of putting out any more live CD's after Fenway??!!

I have not been keeping touch with Buffett during the summer or lsitening to the showqs. I was a little confused about all the cheering for the Saturday Night setlist (its good but not sure why everyine though it was so special)...until I saw it.....I would be willing to bet the deed to my house that the saturday night show will be on a CD, the question is just when. Glory Days? You have to be kidding me. That is awesome.

Re: Philadelphia CD
Boy, given the history of these live CDs and Mailboat's constant delays (we have yet to see anything from the License to Chill tour) that is a real risky bet!drparrotheadphd wrote:I would be willing to bet the deed to my house that the saturday night show will be on a CD, the question is just when. I'd suggest that ya'll do yourselves a favor and pick up the Sirius satellite broadcast off the myriad websites sites that offer recordings off Radio Margaritaville. Why wait for Mailboat when it's available now.
I burned a CD the next morning and was listening to the show on the way back to Maryland the next day. Our laptop ran out of harddrive space so we missed the encores, but I'm going to patch in the RM recording I did at home on the DSL over the internet (or I may see what's available on the web). The satellite sound quality from Saturday night is the BEST I have ever heard off RM, and I don't think they could improve on it much through a commercial release.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

The only problem as I understand is that RM cut off during the "encore breaks" and came back halfway into Glory Days. So their feed may not be good for the "whole" show.SomeGuyNamedDan wrote:I'd suggest that ya'll do yourselves a favor and pick up the Sirius satellite broadcast off the myriad websites sites that offer recordings off Radio Margaritaville.
