New Orleans-Salty Piece Of Land Show

Post by specks »

I just received an email from Mailboat Records, they are working on releasing this next spring. I am hoping that means 2006. Of course with Mailboat it could be spring 2010. If we are lucky.

Maybe they'll make it a hurricane benefit and donate the proceeds to help NO rebuild after today's storm. Those poor people are going to need all the help they can get!

I'm starting to wonder whether the perpetual delay in release of the "Coastal Confessions" show is a form of torture or penance for those of us in Indy who missed the live version due to that little electricity problem....  :-?

I heard talk about a DVD release of Jimmy's reading of A Salty Piece of Land (the broadcast show from M'ville NO, last December that we were able to watch from movie theaters). Am I the only person that heard this?

And all the harm that I ever did, Alas it was to none but me.
And since it falls, unto my lot, that I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call, 'Goodnight and Joy be with you all.'"

Oh. OK. Here in Philly, One screen had major problems and the other showed it fine. Unfortunately I was in the problem theater and didn't find out that the other one had video too until half way through. That's why I'd love the video - to see what I missed.
