No MSM has ever mentioned how many looters were shot and killed in the Miami area after hurricane Andrew.

Anyone looting in Lousiana deserves what they get .either gator or mudbug bait.

Only sick minded bastards would dare to take such advantage of people.

May all of those that do such and commit such acts, face the local justice system.....and save the court system and the people the money and the time.

If you know the people there, then you know what I am talking about. If not then you don't. and feel free to call in the ACLU or whoever.....I am quite sure the ACLU will be interested in protecting and defending the people's property...better than a well armed Cajun can... uh - huh..... let us see THAT happen....

There are people in Louisiana (and probably Mississippi) stealing food from businesses who have no intention of doing anything other than eating it.

It's wrong, but it's sad too.

That being said, looters who are simply looking to screw their neighbor and enrich themselves during a time of crisis do not deserve to be shot.

Shooting is reserved for those who are owed a quick and painless death.
These losers should be hung from a lamp-post with a sign around their neck:

I saw footage of people looting in a grocery store. Part of me thinks "what a bunch of losers, Where's your pride or dignity?".
Another part thinks "IF' the water really is going to rise like they say then they are taking food that will be submerged/ruined anyway. If you lost your house and everything then you prolly could care less about taking a loaf of bread to survive. Then the first part of me that thought "where's your pride or dignity" thinks "these sum b#tches would be looting regardless of the severity".
Once again I'm a walking clusterbang contradiction

They asked a looter on the news this morning why he was doing it and he responded "if we weren't supposed to loot, there would be, you know, cops around here".

but as far as looting goes -
looting to survive is one thing but when you see people running around with psychotic grins on their face & others carrying new suits away & yet others shooting a cop in the head, that's just wrong IMHO

You wanna find out? Kiss the wife and kids goodbye, and head east

And yes, at a time like this, looters should be shot on sight...and the government should reimburse the shooter for the ammunition used.

I was shocked when I saw that!

Martin Savidge was filming inside a store (WalMart?) when he encountered two uniformed (armed) NOPD loading up a cart on the shoe aisle. When he asked them what they were doing one responded, "Looking for looters." He pointed out that the store was full of looters and asked what they were going to do. The cop replied, "You in here too..."

(I always heard that NOPD was dirty, but that's just stoopid.)

Glad to SOaB and Mike think it is funny....I don't have to wonder what they would do if God forbid, they lived down there and had to go through it.....

I knew it would not take long to see someone make fun of the situation and the people's sufferings....or comments others make about looters and the suffering going on

I made a comment as well but I've also shed several tears over the destruction. You haven't seen my tears - how do you know that SOaB and Mike haven't in their own way grieved? And as far as the comments being made about the looters - well it's on the freaking news. Are you saying that we don't have the right to discuss the news that's being covered on this horriable disaster?

People use humor in many ways, one of those ways is to help them get through tough times. MOST of us realize that. Apparently at least one doesn't.
