I just think it's funny for the ones they showed running off with 5 or 6 pair of pants nad jackets - where the heck are they taking them??? There is no where dry to go... FOr the mom who took the formula and diapers - I am not sure how I feel about that - survival may deem that necesary. But I am hoping there is a special place reserved in hell for those blatantly looting just to "take"

Martial law was declared earlier although I think I read somewhere that technically, the concept doesn't legally exist in Louisiana. Kinda confusing. Anyway, I think it just gives the military the means to circumvent normal civil procedures (like arrest warrants, Miranda rights & such) and incarcerate troublemakers. I don't think "shoot on sight" is part of it. Of course, if a looter just happened to run in front of a "stray" bullet ......rednekkPH wrote:I dont' know if it was, but it should have been. The MSM ( Main Stream Media) has ignored what civilians do to protect their property
No MSM has ever mentioned how many looters were shot and killed in the Miami area after hurricane Andrew.
Anyone looting in Lousiana deserves what they get .either gator or mudbug bait.
Only sick minded bastards would dare to take such advantage of people.
May all of those that do such and commit such acts, face the local justice system.....and save the court system and the people the money and the time.
If you know the people there, then you know what I am talking about. If not then you don't. and feel free to call in the ACLU or whoever.....I am quite sure the ACLU will be interested in protecting and defending the people's property...better than a well armed Cajun can... uh - huh..... let us see THAT happen....
To quote Bill Maher "The same one that gave Ronald Reagan a two week funeral"![]()
some need to come out of their caves & join MSS (Main Stream Society)
I knew it would not take long to see someone make fun of the situation and the people's sufferings....or comments others make about looters and the suffering going on
To tell the truth I did not even read all of your post at first.
My comment had nothing to do with Katrina or any suffering. As soon as I read to where you wrote "Main Stream Media" I thought "There he goes again" and responded with something that I thought was funny.
Most of your posts remind me of a guy I that work with that we've nicknamed Fox News Ticker because everytime he comes around he's bitching about or blaming something on the liberals/democrats, media, Clinton, and the like.
It's really no offense man.
Heck I myself have republican tendancies

Edited it down to save space after all we all hve seen what we said...well maybe....
ANYWAY........
I was very touchy and concerned about and trying to get info on some friends that lived near NO. They live/lived in a small town out from NO and nothing has been on the news about it... They managed to relocate and are safe...one made it to Baton Rouge and the other made it to their Mom's house. At this time they have no idea what they have lost or what they have left....or what they will do. ( they are sisters.....) One may bring the keet(s) and her Mom and move back here for a month or so, to live with her sister here. They are not allowed back into the area. One of them hopes that perhaps on Saturday they might be allowed back in to check.
Stay Safe and Keep the Faith!
......Is ok....how about next time reading it all before you comment, if you would? Please? Now lets go find an adult libation or two or three and place to relax.... If you can ever make it up this way, St.Marys is not that far from Jax... and besides the Riverview Hotel is right there and is quite reasonable. I would love to take you and your lady or whoever, to Seagle's and experience Cindy and hopefully get to to hear Arlie.... he has tentative plans to play this Saturday...sonofabeach wrote: Sam,
