I,m a little befuddled on what to say right now. I have been fighting with this all day long at work, I started to leave early but that would have done nothing more than bring me home sooner to accept the devastating news that I really do not want to accept. Last night a friend, whom was one of the greatest "Gamecock Football" fans lost his life in a boating accident at Lake Murray in SC. I am not concerned about me but I so worry about his family. His Mom, Dad, Stepmom, ex -fiance, and his precious little girl. I had not turned him into a "parrott head" but he allowed me to play "Jimmy" prior to game time if we were watching at home. Once the game countdown began he had to play the USC Marching Band CD, with fight songs and the 2001 theme which is our opener.
PHIN POWER TO YOU AND TO HIS PHAMILY!!!!!
Many drinks and a SALUTE to all of you.
I am all to familiar with the loss of a friend and or loved one. I will leave it at that.
May God speed the ease of your grief and pain. Do your best to concentrate and remember the goodtimes you an he shared and the time you were allowed to travel the road with him, we know as life.
I know none of what I said will help you in your grief and pain.....but alas...I have no other words to offer at this time. I hope there will be some solace and comfort found among them.
God Bless
