<<<SLIDELL, LA
A football-field length of debris litters Highway 11. The debris came from the miles of fishing camps and houses that once were located on that stretch of road.
Most of the camps are gone.
A house in that stretch owned by blues singer and guitarist Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown also is gone. The only thing there is a couple of cars -- both submerged to the roofs in the bayou.
And no one knows whether Brown was at home when Katrina struck.>>>
As most of you know, "Gatemouth" was suffering from terminal lung cancer. If he decided to ride Katrina out at home, I hope he was playing "Unchained Melody" when the storm peaked.
Sending Love, Light and Fins Power to those in need...
