I'm watching bits & pieces of the Raiders/Patriots game from work. I'm just not used to seeing football on Thursday night.

I heard that the impossible happened and the Raiders are ACTUALLY playing the Jets at the Meadowlands? :o :o :o
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Too bad ... I would love to see how Bo would deal with that prima donna Moss!

I am just glad the Pats won! :D And this time there was no "Tuck Rule" for the Raiders to b**ch either! :P

I will say however, that it looks to be a nail-biting season without Romeo Crennel on board... :( at least judging by that game-opening fiasco of a drive :-?

Bo still lives here in CHicago. He stays out of the spotlight as much as possible, but still does a couple things for those South Side Sox.

Bo speaks at seminars and other such events and makes quite a few $$ I have heard. Bo was the best athlete of our time, no frills and definitely no F-EN bull sh!t like those pre madonnas like moss. If it wasn't for his injury Bo would have been the best football player ever and all this recent talk about Jerry Rice would be just secondary to Bo Jackson. Bo would have broken every record Jim Brown could wish to hold. Bo Jackson is to football what Bobby Orr is to Hockey.

Before the games, the announcement:

"Four years ago today, a terrible tragedy gripped our nation. Please rise to honor the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks, and to remember the victims of Hurricane Katrina, please welcome Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey!"

The Redskin game was a crapfest 9-7 but in the NFL it dosen't matter a win is a win. As crappy as the Cowboys are playing now our game against them next week could end up in a scoreless tie :D

With the Redskins ugly victory over Da Bears.... (score was 9 to 7 and yes the Atlanta Braves scored that many runs too), I have to post this....

Hail to the Redskins!
Hail Victory!
Braves on the Warpath!
Fight for old D.C.!
Run or pass and score -- we want a lot more!
Beat 'em, Swamp 'em,
Touchdown! -- Let the points soar!
Fight on, fight on 'Til you have won
Sons of Wash-ing-ton. Rah!, Rah!, Rah!
Hail to the Redskins!
Hail Victory!
Braves on the Warpath!
Fight for old D.C.!
