I finally found this back on PAGE 7
(I was beginning to think it had somehow gone horribly off topic and had been deleted )
Anyway ... the Giants actually won a game they were "supposed" to for a change, giving Eli his first real road win (sorry but that N'awlins victory doesn't count in my book) hopefully filling the Manning family quota of road wins this week!

I was more concerned yesterday with Brooks Bollinger.
If he had continued to exploit our left corner, it may have been a different result, but...
LT had no problem rolling over the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!!!

$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Chiefs' Holmes won't return this season
Chiefs running back Priest Holmes is not retiring, but he won't play football again this season.
Priest Holmes will not play again for Kansas City this season. Sources have told FOXSports.com that the team will place Holmes on injured reserve later Wednesday, ending his season as a result of a bruise in his spinal canal.
The team signed former Panthers running back Dee Brown to help fill the void and also worked out former Broncos running back Quentin Griffin. Denver also has practice squad running back McKenzi Smith to possibly promote.
There was a report that Holmes would retire as early as Wednesday, but team officials insist that notion is false. Instead, team doctors will re-evaluate Holmes in 30 days and take a plan of attack after that.
Holmes, 32, a three-time Pro Bowler whose 66 touchdowns between 2002-2004 are an NFL record for any three-year span, was injured on a helmet-to-helmet hit against San Diego on Oct. 30.
He missed last week's game against Oakland and in the past two weeks has seen spinal-injury specialists in California and Florida.
Injuries have caused Holmes to cut short two of his last three seasons. But he has shown flashes of his old self while rushing for 451 yards and six touchdowns on 119 carries. He also has 21 catches for 197 yards, including a 60-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown in a victory over Washington on Oct. 16.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

As a die-hard Denver fan, I'm not sad to see the Chiefs lose Holmes, but it's always a bummer to see a guy have an injury like that.dawgfan wrote: Priest Holmes will not play again for Kansas City this season.

It was sad to see Griffin leave the Broncos, but our running game has been so strong, there wasn't really any opportunity for him in Denver this season.

I'm amazed at how well Plummer is doing this year. He's been a real underachiever most of his career....then again...Arizona....buffettbride wrote:Yeah.
