For some reason, it doesn't hold the fascination that the baseball thread does.
I'll try and help keep it alive!!
Part of the problem....nobody pays much attention from Tuesday-Friday. Baseball is every day.
Yeah. That's true.
Broncos/Raiders game this weekend, though!!!
I'm amazed at how well Plummer is doing this year. He's been a real underachiever most of his career....then again...Arizona....

You mean there is a professional football team in Arizona?

It's still up for debate.

Those aren't SUPPOSED to be professional, but if they want to compete with USC and UCLA.....

LB, Crusty....rumor I heard. And, as a fellow Chargers fan, I'm torn on how to react....
IF T.O. wins his arbitration case, the Eagles may just release him. If so, the Chargers are interested in picking him up.
Brees, Gates, LT, and TO....interesting. I also believe that whereever TO would end up, he'll be on his best behavior, as he's auditioning for next season.....
But to sell the soul of the team for this Emmer Effer....
I'm torn.

I have also heard that rumor. If it was just the remainder of this season...ok He could just put the Bolts over the top. But no more than that

This week I think it will be tough for the Redskins offense.

A second straight "trap" game for the Giants this week. No Culpepper, no Moss obviously. A depleted secondary. Their RB scares me. We have to keep him in check and our DB's have to jam their WR's and make 37 year old Brad Johnson go over the top on us.

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but does anyone else think that Mike Vick is poised to have the worst game of his career today?
Last week, he had a decent game passing, not great but decent....he decides to spout off at the media, telling everyone that they have to stop criticizing his passing now, based on that game. (He had 221 yards passing, and said, "I never want to be questioned about my passing again".)
Well, now he has to back it up, or they will jump all over him, worse than ever. They are playing a 1-7 team, but one which has actually outscored their opponants this year.
Sounds like the classic "trap" game to me...the type of game where he is something like 8-23 passing for 112 yards and 2 interceptions.
Or, since I am a Packers fan, is this just wishful thinking?

He BETTER have a "best" behavior if he wants anyone in the NFL to ever hire him!
