I need more music in my life. I'd like to limit my spending to about $200. Other than Ipod any recommendations?

Can't help you with recs on a player, but keep in mind that there are additional expenses like a device so you can use it in your car, and many other things you might want---that will, unfortunately add to your cost.

I have a RIO Cali, it's great for running, working out, etc, doesn't hold 10,000 songs, but it does ok by me, pretty reasonable, $129 bucks when I bought it a year ago, there are probably newer RIO models, so check them out.

I have a Nomad from Creative Labs. http://us.creative.com/products/product ... oduct=4884

It holds about 4 hours of music and plays for 12 hours on a AAA battery for less than $100.

I've been really pleased with mine.
