Hello everyone, I was glancing at the play lists for some of the shows on the salty piece of land tour, and noticed that for some of the dates for his encore he sang the Neil Young song "Helpless". This is one of my fav songs and made me think I caught the wrong show. (I was at one of the philly shows and had to sit through "Glory Days",
Anyway I was wondering how that song sounded, I really can't imagine him singing it and Im very curious. Was it any good?

I was at Philly and Glory Days was a great number.hadessephy wrote:Hello everyone, I was glancing at the play lists for some of the shows on the salty piece of land tour, and noticed that for some of the dates for his encore he sang the Neil Young song "Helpless". But...
I was there in Toronto for Helpless and it was fantastic. I am not a big Neil Young fan, but I do appreciate the classics and that song was EPIC!
I suggest you find a download of it and grab it.
Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.

I saw him playing it at mohegan. When i listen to the song from recordings of the show i like it. However when he played it as an encoure i thought that it kind of sounded out of place because a lot of people werent familiar with it (myself included) and the crowd wasent really into it that much. I would have rathered seen him do one of his and end the show with a bang.
WAKE UP AND LIVE!

Excellent point. Toronto was the perfect place for Helpless. Mohegan may not have been...landshark04 wrote:I saw him playing it at mohegan.
