Yep...I was moved by that performance as well. I had to put the sunglasses on to hide the watery eyes. The first of a quite a few heartfelt moments yesterday.

We went to both shows and Sunday's anthem was awesome because everyone was singing. That was overwhelming. I was kind of bummed because there was no ukelele anthem. Then came Monday.....I was so excited! It was so awesome no matter if it was pre-recorded or not. I'm so glad I got to experience that up close!

Even though Monday's Jake version was pre-recorded, I had chills and then some...the crowd was quiet enough to hear a pin drop, and that added tears to my eyes (when I'd seen Jake do it live in P'burgh, I was so disappointed to be surrounded by many people who gave Jake, much less the National Anthem little or no respect at all.

I guess I'm alone on this one....it's just that I've been to Wrigley nearly 100 times in my life and the national anthem has always been live!
