They come by our building at least once a month if not more!!! I'm astonished at their persistence.
whatever you do - don't tell them you are Satan worshipers in hopes to get rid of them   :o
I second that motion. It doesn't work. If they even remotely believe you, they seem to make it their personal life's mission to try and save you.

If I go both ways, does that make me partially responsible for the damage from the hurricane?
:D The house next door to the bible thumpers is for sale ;)

I think you need to move there.

You can just walk across their back yard to mine....they absolutely love it when you do that ;)

funny story to share...
I live in an area where some of my neighbors are on the religous side and they can be a little judgemental to say the least. The other night Les and I were on the deck having a beer - he installed a knob that projects the music from the stereo out onto the deck. Only this night - we went back inside and forgot to turn the volume off - then we went into the living room and put on my cousin's DVD (She is a ------- Comedienne who does not hold back when she does comedy)... and the TV and stereo are all on one system so we pretty much broadcast her entire show for all of my neighbors..... there is no doubt now where we stand on the gay issue!!!

One of my coworkers was also JW. She was always here when no one else was.

She was actually pretty cool and didn't get real pushy, although once she did give me a JW children's Bible to give to my daughter. It was a little weird.

Or we could just stand in the middle of their yard and carry on loud, offensive conversations.

It's not like they don't use my backyard as a walkway :x :x

SWEET! Should I be sending you specs on the house? ;)

Are you good at sitting on the porch and mocking people as they go by?

-about 10 minutes from the end - Les went to go let the dog out and realized it was on. No one has said anything yet..... which is good - they just look at us real funny-like

Yeah, that was more of a rhetorical question.

While there are actually a couple of very nice, normalish neighbors, the rest are mu-mu wearing overbearing mothers, bible thumpers, yuppies, and a couple i have yet to accurately classify.

It's loads of fun!!!

Show up at their house with a bottle of Jager and a deck of cards.

I'm pretty sure you'll figure it out quick enough.

I've figured out they're not nice. Just haven't figured out what category of not nice they fit into.

I'd prefer to keep the Jager for those I already know deserve it ;)

I would make a most excellent neighbor. :D :D

How many square feet we talkin'? What's the job market like? What do you know about the schools in the area?

School is supposedly best in the county, square feet is 2500+ (not sure what their model is exactly), job market is actually pretty good in our area right now because there are a lot of retail and industrial businesses moving into the surrounding areas. Gas and groceries are the cheapest in the general area, and so are the utilities, and the autumn is absolutely beautiful because there's plenty of mountain like scenery around ;)

Am I persuading you yet?
