Buffet doing dave matthews cover in indy!

Post by KYPARROTHEAD »

Just wondering if anyone else heard this? I was at the show and all the parrotheads with me were confused when it started, I was like....is that dave? WoW buffett covering dave!

Really think he was testing it, for the new cd?

Any thoughts?

i dont like it. Buffett should drop it all together. Dave sucks. When jimmy sings he almost starts to sing like dave....which is very.....very bad.

In light of the recent tragedy in the Gulf region, I thought I would let it slide. I saw it immediately as I do a lot of proofreading at my job.

OK, here goes:

- Oh, did it have a sneeze guard?

- Could you listen to the cover song as long as you wanted for $7.95, $9.95 on weekends?

- Was there more to the song at dinner time vs. at lunch time?
:pirate:

Is that better?

Well he tried it out again I guess, got alot of B shows on the hard drive and none have the song, not sure where else he has done it but i liked it.

Course I am a DM fan so its good no matter what. Buffett only did it justice, unlike the margaritaville remake i heard by some alternative band on the way ti indy. IT SUCKED!!!!!! the dave song was good! Just kinda shows JB's versatility. Can play anything and make it likeable....

PS GOOD JOB BUFFETT!! Everyone does covers, and you did a great one!

the only cover I'm really hoping appears on the new album would be Lighthouse (I know, almost no chance), Trippin Billies was fun to hear at Cincy (and I'm a HUGE DMB fan, so the first time he played it at Nissan it was really spiffy), but I think that's one that could be left out of an album.
I still love old magazines and Snickers bars....
