Whose's going??? When are you getting in town.
Im hitting chi-town saturday afternoon, staying at a friends off Lincoln. Hitting up the bars within walking distance-GinMill, Wise Fools, maybe heading to Sheffields beer garden. Planning on tailgating some-Are you allowed to tailgate at the Tweeter??
Farm aid money is now going to farmers affected by the hurricane

No Tailgating. Get there early---They DO oversell Farm Aid.
Back in 98 when they moved Farm Aid from Texas to Tinley with only 2 or 3 weeks til the show---they sold it out within no time, and actually over sold it by about 5,000 tickets. At the time the venue only had about 35,000 capacity, now it has about 40,000. So my guess is they may have close to 45,000 people there.

I know how that goes.Ilph wrote:My friend offered me tickets, but I have to be at work 5 hours south of Chicago the next day, so sadly, no Farm Aid for me.
Night before I leave for Vegas, down at Assembly Hall at UofI, Sara Evens, Sugarland, and Brad Paisley are playing.
Not gonna happen when I gotta catch a flight at 9am the next morning.
