Pat Green

Post by a1aara »

Pat Green is playing a bar in Columbus tomorrow night. Tickets are $37.00 a ticket. Is it worth paying $37.00 a ticket to see Pat Green? I've really been disapointed in his last couple of releases.

I actually have a question....I like Pat Green but don't have any of his CD's. I want to buy one, but which do you reccomend?

I saw him this summer at the Kenny Chesney show and he was actually really good live.

I would pay to go see him. From all accounts I've heard, he puts on a great show.

Melissa, I would start with "Three Days" or "Live from Billy Bob's." His latest album isn't that great IMO.

Gotta agree with Ilph on the "Live from Billy Bob's" or "Three Days." I've seen Pat 3 times in the last year and might be going to see him again on the 24th of this month. Pat and the boys put on a great live show! I was kind of upset that they only got to play 4 songs when they opened up for KC. You won't find a bunch of cooler guys who enjoy what they are doing...and appreciate it.

I would pay 1000 dollars to see pat play live again...

the first time I saw him was at the Aladian theater here in portland....sold out...maybe 300 people.....it was by far the best show ever.....I was front row and got to meet him after the show and talk to him for a while...

I am flying down to Texas in December to see him do his annual Live at Billy Bobs show.......

he is by far the best performer out there today......

start your cd collection off with "live at Billy Bobs" and then georges bar, Three days, wave on wave and Lucky ones.....he writes with awesome people and there is a connection between his music and Buffetts, its hard to explain because they are different but after you listen and are hooked you will know what I mean.....

But yes...pay to see pat play....he is awesome....and the 20 min you saw of him at the Chesney show did not do him justice....trust me....

you need to see him do a show by himself.....its out of this world

I couldn't have said it any better. Seeing Pat perform a show that is just HIS show, is out of this world. Similar to what I tell people about a Buffett show...you just have to go for yourself to see! :D

You know, I have been spending so much time over at dancehall/patgreen.com that I totally missed this thread! I'd like to thank GodsOwnDrunk and ASUWOOKIE for being my posting buddies there... and I absolutely think that this tour Pat did with Kenny opened up the eyes of an entirely different crowd for Pat.

And yes, George's bar is the one to start a collection with.. then work your way up!
