Personally I would suggest someplace where the winter is a bit more tolerable. I live in the Cleveland area, so we will have to have a beer sometime.

I am a Cubs fan, so life may be rough in the Cleveland area. Am excited about the job however!

I knew the winters would be brutal and I will take you up on the beer!

Do you fish? There is a beautiful Metro Park with an awesome river to catch Steelhead. What area will you be moving to?

Did you see the headline of the children kept in cages today? That is right down the road from where you will be calling "home"!

Cleveland is a neat city. They have a wonderful park system that surrounds the city. Lots of woods and hiking trails. Even some geocaching in the parks if you're into that.

Fun OUTDOOR stadiums for sports and good shopping. Chicago is prolly better on the shopping front, but if shopping isn't high on your list that wouldn't signify... :P

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I was expecting to see a blighted yucky city when I first started visiting there (because of all the jokes etc on TV) and was amazed at how much I like it there.

We head there a couple of times a year to visit hubby's family....
