The ESP question is near a topic I have looked into lately.

I am not a real religious person, just was never raised that way.

However, I do believe in something devine...

What do you think? Is there an afterlife??

(Sorry, what do you expect, I am in the final weeks of my job 8) )

hmmm not so sure, i'm not really religious either, I was raised Catholic but I don't practice. I've never been really sure on this question. I'd like to think there is an afterlife, but who knows!

Unless decompostion and wasting precious real estate are considered an afterlife, I'd have to say no.

YES! but I don't think it's as simple or cut and dry as some religious people try to make it out to be. Too many paranormal experiences personally and around the globe to say when you die you go ONLY here or there. Do we come back as someone else or something else? hmm.. well science has proven that DNA can from one person can cause another to have dreams about that person's past.. hmm

Yes,

I got thrown out of the back of a pick up in College, knocked unconscious for 3 hours. I watched them load my body into the ambulance from the branches of the tree across the street. Prior to that I watched a long haired lady in a blue dress hold my hand while the paramedics worked on me. I had too many of the details exact for this to be a dream. The next morning in the hospital I recieved a call, it was the lady that I watched hold my hand. She asked how I was and wished me all of God's blessings. My friends watched the entire scene as I was lying on the street bleeding. I asked them if they knew who the lady was that was holding my hand, as I wanted to thank her for her concern and her call. My friends looked at me perplexed and told me that there was no long haired lady in a blue dress holding my hand. Yet, one of my friends was in the hospital room when I recieved the phone call.

Yes, I do believe

I am more spiritual than religious, if I must have a label. Yes, I believe in an afterlife and also in reincarnation. I also believe in new souls and old souls.

Yes. Absolutely.

I'm not sure I believe in reincarnation, but there are definitely "old souls" out there, and sometimes I get the distinct impression I've spent significant time with some people before...

Conservation of energy... First law of thermodynamics. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, merely transformed from one form to another.

Whatever spark that seperates us from being alive to being dead can't just disappear.

(Not being snide, truly curious!)

So, you don't believe in God, but do believe in afterlife? In your belief system, where do you go? Are you a spirit after your body is dead?
