BTW, any idea on ticket prices AFTER the pre-sale? How much, do you think, Portland tickets will be on Saturday when the regular sale starts?

I got the pre-sale tickets last year for the 5-20 Minneapolis show.
Tickets cost me $120 with fees. While I didn't want to pay it, me and my 5 guests made it to the show and didn't have to worry about getting shut out. Heck I spent $106 per ticket for Vegas 10-22 but that is cause he didn't do Alpine this year. While raising the price for pre-sale tickets I do not agree with, It at least will guarentee you to see the show if you are willing to pay the price.

Oh yes! We were willing to pay the price for the presale tickets to ensure we'd see the show.
When he was last at the Rose Garden, we bought tickets within the first 10 minutes of the regular sale for about 8 people and ended up high in the 300 level. It was ok, but just not the same. So we hit the presale and are in the 100 level. That'll work fine for us.
I have some other friends waiting until tomorrow to get thier tickets cause it's their first show so they didn't want to pay the higher price.

Yep! I told them I'll keep them updated about the preshow party.
One of the Buffett virgins is going to Key West in November with his parents. So his mom bought his dad Boats, Bars and I'm going to loan them Pirate Looks @ 50 to read. I also told them about the Trails of Margaritaville walking tour.
When Buffett came to the amphitheater in Ridgefield, my husband and I brought our own little Buffett virgin. He was a bartender we befriended who is also in a band. He thought all the fun & excitement we always spoke of was a bunch of bull. When he turned around during Fins and saw 20,000 pairs of phins in the air (we had floor seats for that show) he was in complete awe and is now a definite phan!
I'm making sure to do my part to spread the love!

you sound like someone we might like to have in our club.......
I was at the concert in Ridgefield/Vancouver....our club rented 3 grayhound busses and we had great seats too.....and I know exactly what you mean when you looked back and saw 20,000 people doing phins....it was INCREDIBLE, I actually have that concert on CD....I listen to it so I can remember what was going on.....the details of the entire night are a little fuzzy to me....

That is the very reason I try to get copies of each show I've been to!
Actually after San Diego.....I've been trying to behave myself a little....it's no good when you travel all that way and don't remember any part of the concert but the last coupla songs!

Can't say it wasn't fun geting to that state.....but Jimmy won't be touring forever!
I wish I were closer.....I'd love to be a part of such an active club. I wonder if I could get enough peole down here to crawl outta the woodwork with an interest. Hmmmmmm.
