There was a documentary about them on this weekend. I will say this:

a) the guys (Bjorn and Benny) were pretty good at putting words to folk songs
b) I would love to have had their cabin where they did their best work
c) either Agnetha or Annafrid (or both) were pretty hot in their day, and even now don't look bad for their age. :)

I never knew their names. But it surprised me to see how many hits they actually had. I think they definitely had talent.

they did, especially considering that Agnetha (the blonde) did not really speak English all that well, and has reverted to speaking Norske in interviews... mmmmm... blonde.. and Norske.. mmmmmm... almost as good as redheaded.. ;D)

That's interesting. Because some of the music they were playing on the field wasn't in english. I wasn't sure what language it was though.

oddly enough, they adapted a lot of central European folk song melodies over for their music.

I have always liked them. I have not given them a listen in along time.
I am not sure if I still have anything by them or not.... alot of cds/tapes seem to have just "walked off" over the years......

BTW even G. Gordon Liddy likes Abba.
