All the time, but I'm very unsociable so there are very few people that I do like.

I hate to admit this, but reading some of the posts today, I can tell that there are a few people around here that I just wouldn't like to ever meet.

I felt that way about one person. Met the person. Still feel that way.

for the most part I just love everyone...I really like people. However I don't have too much tolerance for negativity. Once and a while it's fine, but some people just seem like they are always down and negative, and i'm not a fan of that. Thankfully not many people here are like that, they are very few and far between. That said, I'd like to meet everyone here at least once, because you don't really know someone until you meet them in person.

Not usually after one post.... I will give someone a few chances. But I really dont not like anyone... there are just some people I dont have anything in common with... for whatever reason and therefore have no reason to become anything more than online aquaintances. And I have learned that its best in a forum like this to ignore alot of posts when it will just stir the pot.

Posts aside, do you ever get this "gut feeling" when you first meet/talk to someone in person? How on the mark are you?

Yes I get it... and I am right alot of the time! SOmetimes tho I dont listen to myself when I should!!!

I have no tolerance for the intolerant!

You have to keep in mind that after reading many posts of the active members you tend to get a sense of the individual making the post and thus you have something to base your judgment on. And there are a few people who their initial post is so far out there that everyone knows where they stand on a given subject.

by the way the root word here is judgement. It's wise to exercise this in everything. If somebody causes bells to go off stay away. And I'd never meet somebody who I conversed with online for the first few times not in a group setting. And although I disclose alot of myself online I'm fairly cautious about certain types of personal info.

Well I didnt say I was perfect.... LOL but with religion and politics I will read the thread and maybe offer an insightful response... but those issues are so personal that a group of people with NEVER agree... and not that it doesnt need to be discussed... I just dont need to be stepping on anyone's toes....

I usually run with feelings ...... whether they are right or wrong ....

You learn who is posting things to try and deliberately antagonise or stir you - I ignore them now - it is much easier and takes less energy!
