Do you drink?

Post by ToplessRideFL »

Do you drink different alcoholic drinks in the summer than winter? I just learned that drinking a Gin and Tonic in the winter months is faux pas.... so I wondered what other drinkin' protocols are out there... since we BNers tend to phlock 'round adult beverages occasionally!

supposedly the rule is light or colourless drinks in summer; darker in winter. I prefer my tequila and dark beer year round however.

I don't drink alcohol anymore but when I did it was almost always liquor and wine in the winter with an occasional beer thrown in and wine and beer in the summer with a boat drink or two thrown in.
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

I actually drink more Tanqueray & Tonic in the winter because it tastes like pine needles (i.e. Christmas Trees). I'm more likely to try a fruity or frozen drink in the Summer than I am in the Winter. But I have found that most alcohol tastes good year round.

As one of my favorite tv chefs (Justin Wilson) would say when asked whether to drink red or white wine with certain dishes; drink what you like. You can't go wrong that way. I garontee!

Beer year-round, with a couple margaritas thrown in here and there.
To Jolena...

I'm on top of the world, lookin' down on creation
And the only explanation I can find
Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around
You're love's put me at the top of the world

It helps stay hydrated, to keep the hangovers away. It sure worked in Joliet!

Maybe, but nothing seems to help you from taking a nap in the middle of the action...you are so good at that!

Thanks for that. Maybe the water puts me to sleep. I'll have to stop drinking that stuff.
