As JB leads the troupe (alphabetically that is) lets look to see tributes to both Jim Croce (9/20/73) and Steve Goodman- no brainer- City of NOLA
(9/20/84).

JB is a class act. He'll do what's appropriate. That's one thing that I like about him. So many people lose themselves and their values when they get caught up with fame. Maybe he did at one time, he's been at this for a while now, but he seems firmly planted in his roots, in his values, and what is important to do as a citizen with a bit more money and fame than the rest of us :D

Thanks, Jimmy, for being a good role model for others helping the cause. This is a time for coming together, not hidden agendas....

JB Tribute to JC

Every once in awhile time & place converge. I think it's appropriate for JB to finally cover a Jim Croce tune, particularly on 9/20 , the 32nd anniversary of Jim's passing in Louisiana. Jim lived in NY for a time (actually in the Bronx) and wrote a memorable tune- NY's Not My Home.
Nevertheless - Jim was an everyman covering the southern USA too. Roller Derby Queen, Time in a Bottle, One Less Set of Footsteps or dare I ask- Ball of Kerrymuir, all would be appropos.

Then you can join sweet Irma Thomas & Frogman Henry on Saxophones. I'll be watchin on PPV. :-)
