St. Lucia
Moderator: SMLCHNG
Kurt,
Went to St. Lucia on my Honeymoon and we loved it. People were very friendly and the country is beautiful, the Pitons are a must see. We stayed at the Sandals Regency, which we liked better the the other 2 Sandals on St. Lucia from what we saw. Use the link below and look for my post about half way down the page for a lot more info.

We took a great land and sea tour one day to the Pitons. The trip consisted of a van ride down the west coast to the village of Soufriere, making a few stops before we boarded a catamaran for the trip back. We stopped at a fishing village, the drive through Volcano, some scenic outlooks, and lunch at a local restaraunt. On the catamaran on he way back we stopped for maybe 45 min's to snorkel and swim in a small bay. They then offered beer and rum punch on the way back. It was a great way to see so much of he island
Hope that helps,

We stayed at Anse Chastenet. LOVED IT! It is right by the pitons.
Not good if you have a heart condition. It's built on a steep hill. Tons of stairs. But a lovely place with great food and beautiful rooms and views.
Next time we go to St Lucia we plan to stay at Ladera. Has rooms with one wall missing/open to the sea....

Thank you for the input!
Your reviews are much appreciated. We were going to stay at Stonefield Resort; however, it was a bit too pricey in February so we decided on 'The Still Resort' by Soufriere. We would have LOVED to stay at Anse Chasenet, Ladera and Sandals but WOW! ($$$) – I know you all absolutely LOVED IT THERE!
We would like to have any more info you lucky people.
