I'm much happier with Marty simply getting exposure so he can put himself and his own band, The Lovehammers, on a national stage!
Pretty cool consolation prize for him and his band to open for INXS on their world tour!
The best end result possible!!!!!! :D

INXS is just a rip off of a great band from the 60's and 70's "The Boomtown Rats" (Bob Geldof) INXS copied their style, their beat, everything short of covering their songs. When Geldof disbanned the Boomtown Rats, INXS stepped in and tried to pick up where the Rats left off. Yes, INXS put out some great tunes, and milked the MTV "Look" to the hilt. Geldof and the Boomtown Rats where a bit too ugly for MTV in the early days. But in the end the Boomtown Rats where better musicians, better song writers, Geldof got the girl, and the lead singer of INXS offed himself.

This reality show is a feable attempt to rescue a band well past it's prime. Their ability as Musicians, their song writing ability, and their look just won't cut it in todays market. they look like they should be auditioning for some musical remake of the 3 muskateers.
I'm guessing by the many inaccuracies included within your diatribe, that you grew up sitting in front of the tube watching them on MTV.
Any more deep thoughts on, say, Thompson Twins?

Cut him a break, research has never been one of his strong points. Apparently, such skills are not a requirement for CA teachers.
Let's see here, Geldof got his girl back, the Boomtown Rats were better musicians, the lead singer of INXS offed himself (obviously you didn't get the pun - perhaps I should have said jerked himself to death), INXS milked the MTV "look" to the hilt, and they look like the 3 muskateers. So where are the inaccuracies? As for CA teachers, we still have the toughest standard of education and testing in order to obtain a credential in the USA, that is why we have one of very few state credentials that is accepted in all 50 states.
Dude! Did you not read my post!? You're wrong... Bob never got the girl back and you've still not provided a legitimate argument that Boomtown Rats were 'better'... comparable, sure... but not even remotely 'better'. And who care if INXS had an MTV 'look'... maybe MTV taylored their look to reflect the image of INXS... maybe because they were AWESOME!?!?

uh yes he did get his daughter back. If you knew anything of Bob Geldof, the custody suit over his daughter was a very bitter fight. He got his girl back.

It wasn't his daughter!!! Good grief, you're an idiot!

Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily was Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates daughter that Bob Geldof now has custody of.

Bob and Paula's daughters are Fifi Trixibelle, Peaches Honeyblossom and Pixie.

Bob never got his girl 'back'... he did an awesome thing and became the father of an orphaned girl.

Prior to the "end" Bob did not always have custody of his daughters, and in additon he took on heavenly as well. But I'm sure you will find a way to argue that as well.

You are providing a half-a$$ attempt of arguing your impression... problem is, you don't know what you're actually talking about (like many other times). I know a great deal about Bob Geldof and Michael Hutchence and many of the people associated with them. We could go on for days debating the legitimacy and quality of INXS music, but you will never surpass my Gates/Geldof/Hutchence knowledge. So let's leave it as it is...
