Here is the RD version I posted right after we started on BN in 2002:
On St Patty’s Day of 2001 I was sitting in the 9th row at Bubba’s show at
the San Jose Arena. About a half hour before show time, I saw this cute lady
with a “Kiss Me I’m Irish” sticker on her chest come running up the steps
from the front row. She saw my friends tight “T, Th, Sat Tour” baby doll
t-shirt and said she HAD to have one of her own! About 15 minutes later,
here she comes back with the very same shirt on. Now, let me tell you that
both of these ladies filled out those baby dolls quite nicely, and bumped
their chests together right in front of me - woohoo! I begged them to do it
again, so they did (must have been the double Patron margaritas)! Later, we
ran into each other in the passageway, and I kissed her like her sticker
said I could! I joined Jeepgirl in the front row, put my hat on her head and
danced with her the rest of the show. After the show, when I asked for my
hat, she looked at me with a smile I will never forget and said, “You’ll get
your hat back… later”.
The next week, we talked to each other every day. I invited her to dinner at
my house that Friday and we ended up spending the most wonderful spring and
summer together in spite of the 90 miles from my house to hers. This year
Jeepgirl and I drove to Las Vegas Memorial Day weekend and are going to
Shoreline in September
