About 11 years ago at the "Back at the Ranch" benefit show out in Montauk NY, Jimmy was the main attraction at Paul's annual charity show. Me and Mrs Goodman were in attendance covered in oil & parrotheads on the lawn. A nervous Simon did his full set and was well received by a clearly Parrothead crowd. Jimmy then launched into a very solid set. Other artists appeared . Edie Brickell, but I waited patiently for Paul to return to jam with JB. Would they do some of Paul's material, some of Jimmy's, or some neutral covers? Imagine my disappointment when the show ended with none of that.

For years I have felt Simon snubbed JB and haven't forgiven him for it.

Well last nite at MSG Jimmy welcomed Paul on stage as they dueted on Frankie Ford's chestnut- Sea Cruise. Jimmy indicated how much he admires Paul and what good neighbors they are. Paul neighbors claim, lets Jimmy take care of the mowing.

Seriously, I guess another curse was lifted last nite by JB (anniversary of Croce & Goodman) so I will now have to hold my peace.
