I can't. I'm so tone deaf it's not even funny. I'm awful. Terrible. Crappy. You should be scared.


I love to sing though, no matter how awful it is. I try to do it in private like on the drive home. I'd sing in the shower, but the water would get to scared!

This is actually something I know a little about. I have a vocal music degree and I'm qualified to teach vocal music K-12. Right now, I'm teaching elementary general music. I wish I could play piano or guitar worth something, but singing must be my gift.

only when I'm in my room or in the car with ONE very specific person. I can carry a tune well enough I guess. The entire liturgy of my church is chanted tho... so I can do that pretty well.

No one has so far wrestled me down to the ground shoved a pillow over my face, but I hang around with some really polite people

At work, in most restaurants, one of the tasks expected of you is to go out in a group and sing, "Happy Birthday" to tables. One of the perks of management, I don't have to!!!

Last time I did, I got dirty looks from my table, and no tip. I think they thought I was that bad on purpose....

Tony is too young to notice I'm awful yet. Victoria knows though. She tells me, "turn it up or turn yourself off".

Changed priorities in my life .... travel to Asia next year then maybe buy a house ..... so it is "if"
