If we weren't all crazy we'd all go insane. I try to live by that as much as I can. Obviously, he doesn't.
My local paper's music guy is also a complete (sorry UAH) asshat. He gives good reviews to today's "popular" singers (ie. Maroon 5, Eminem, Ashlee Simpson). However, you couldn't pay him to give a good review to the aging rockers like the Stones, Jimmy, or more recently Elton John. It's rediculous. If you going to review music, you have to have a musically open mind. You have to be willing to give a good review to performers from Bubba to 50 Cent, to Cher ( ), to Ashlee Simpson ( ).

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar
Clearly...I remember reading this Labor Day morning before the afternoon concert...figured the critic let his politics get in the way...about the only "criticism" I have about a Buffett concert is that I still miss Fingers....
Not that I agree with ANYTHING that this asshat says, but I think everyone is over-reacting to the "only a guitarist" line.
I'm pretty sure it was one of the few complimentary things he said in the article. He meant, "....was only JOINED by a guitarist". I don't think he was being derragatory towards Mac at all.

Maybe not, but it still made me happy to jab at him for it. At best, his grammar suckks, for someone who's supposed to be a journalist.
