Jimmy Buffett and the NFL

Post by trojan_sixtyone »

Jimmy is quoted in the title of this article, and a reference is made to him in the closing line. Nothing earth-shattering, just cool to see him getting some recognition in circles that don't normally recognize him (i.e., the NFL). Enjoy!

Egad...they spelled his name wrong. I just threw up my buffet dinner.

Given the nuance in the title and good "come Monday" reference, I'd bet the writer had it correct and then had it "fixed" by an editor with spell-check....

I agree...I think the title of the article (given the substance and tenor of it) was a clever reference. Also one that most non-phans won't recognize!
