I basically like them, but I've never gotten one because I could never think of something really meaningful that I wanted. For instance, my cousin was killed several years ago in a car accident, and his mom sent everyone daffodil bulbs to plant to remember him. (sorry to say, I don't really know the meaning behind that) But she got (and she's at least 60, and adorable) a daffodil tattoo on her calf. My brother got one with Mom & Dad in a heart w/ his three sisters' names around it when he was in the Navy--so I'm ON a tattoo! (I always called it 'Homesick in Hong Kong" )Other than that, I don't want to go in and just pick a picture! My one friend got one 20+ years ago when she was out of it. She just put her arm up and picked a design--she didn't really know what it was. She has a swastica (sp?) with flames on her forearm! She's a professional now and wears long sleeves constantly. Okay, I'm sure y'all wanted to hear all that! LSS: No, I don't have a tattoo!

I have two. My fraternity letters on my right deltoid and the chinese symbol for teacher on my left shoulderblade. I'll end up with one or two more down the line, I'm sure...

currently I have just one... a small scorpion on my lower back... I want another but cannot figure out where to get it. (I want an Eeyore)

The one I have now can easily be hidden for professional reasons.. thats why I haven't gotten another one... it also needs to be able to be seen only when i want it to :)

I learned the hard way...covering up a 4" diamater tattoo on the back of my neck on my wedding day in a backless dress was a bit tricky. Didn't want to upset the GMIL.

Other than that, I don't really mind if they are seen, but my other 2 just happen to be in places where they aren't unless I want to whip 'em out.

Tattoos are bad. Only bad people get tattoos. I'm ashamed to associate with some of you people

I got my 1st one at barely 18... didn't want mom to freak and wanted a job in tv broadcasting at the time....

i'm not married yet either and don't want to have to pick a dress to fit the tatoo... my scorpion can be seen unless I make an effort to cover it... just didn't want to have to work to hard to cover it when needed!

Eeyore will find a home.. just gotta decide where! I am ready for another one though!!

I have one on my hip. A very colorful sun that I got at the Paradise Tattoo Parlor on Stock Island. I wanted it on my 40th birthday but it was on a Tuesday and we were staying in Key West for the remainder of the week in a very private cottage with a very private pool. They told me that I really shouldn't get back into the pool for the remainder of the week. No way that was going to happen. So I made an appointment and went on our way to the airport on Saturday. Bad idea. The flight was delayed, rerouted, etc. and sitting on that tattoo for all those hours didn't feel so hot!! But, alas, that was a few years and a few trips to Key West ago. The tattoo is still as beautiful as the day I got it and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Get another one?!?! I'm not so sure. Although we have become bikers since then!! 8)

Aha! Then you admit that tattoos are actually good.
If easy is always good and women with tattoos are easy then women with tattoos are good. This negates your previous claim that only bad people get tattoos which by association counters the "tattoos are bad" principle.
Ipso facto .... tattoos are GOOD! :P
