AUSTIN CITY LIMITS CD'S/DVD'S

The next batch of ACL's Live From Austin series will be released on Nov 1st. This time they will release Cd's & DVD's from Johnny Cash, John Hiatt, Eric Johnson, Dwight Yoakam, and the Texas Tornados.

I'm really enjoying this series. Great artists and nice recordings. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes great live music.

Hopefully Buffett's two appearances will eventually make the cut one day along with Whiskeytown, Old 97s, John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker, Asleep at the Wheel, Kasey Chambers,....

The all new John Prine ACL's performance is supposed to be shown in early November.

The all new John Prine ACL's performance is supposed to be shown in early November.
In case you haven't seen it elsewhere, Tift Merritt and Ryan Adams and the Cardinals are taping an episode this month that will air in January.

From what I can find the John Hiatt release is from a 1993 show with a lot of material from Perfectly Good Guitar and the Dwight Yoakam show is from 1988 with mostly songs from his first 2 CD's.

Perhaps you missed it but I just posted that they're available through Miles of Music at http://milesofmusic.com. I'm sure they'll also be available through other outlets but Miles of Music is one choice.
