What size bed do you have??
Hubby and I are not tiny people by any means. We have a California King, and from the size of it, one of us might as well be sleeping in California.
We do our pre-sleep snuggle, but then roll over to our own corners. I like a little space when I sleep (and so does hubby, thankfully)!!

I have a queen size and sometimes get lucky enough to share it with my someone special, (you know who you are BHA),
, when the grown up someone special isn't there, my son usually ends up next to me at some point. Lately anyway.

We have a king size, other than that, nothing out of the ordinary. Simple curved metal bedframe. One of us usually sleeps with an arm over the other, and the dog sleeps either curled up at my head or manages to lay on top of one of us (55 pounds, not the best thing to wake up to). In the winter, he sleeps under the blankets.

If I make my bed I will spend the next week sleeping on the floor so I dont mess the bed up

Queen......sleep alone with the exception of every once in awhile my 'lil girl will crawl into bed with me halfway through the night and snuggle up.

Queen - on my own - and manage to use the whole lot of it during the night - I can be a restless sleeper
And I would never have an animal there with me ... maybe a cat if I were not allergic to them - but definitely not a dog .... ewwwww... not a "dog person" ... but each to their own.
