How do you typically listen to Buffett tunes?

How do you normally listen to Jimmy Buffett music? If it's a combination of the choices, try to pick the way you listen the most.

"Studio released pre-Tiki live recording" includes Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays / Feeding Frenzy / You Had to be There

"Studio released compilation" includes Songs You Know By Heart & Meet Me In Margaritaville

I have almost all the studio CDs programmed as a group (along with some Harry Belefonte, Bob Marley, and steel drum discs) in a 300 disk CD player.
I set it to play randomly through the disks.

I listen both on Radio Margaritaville, and in my car. I particularly like the Boats,Beaches,Bars and Ballads album (primarily because its a pretty well arranged collection of popular and lesser known songs.)

I kind of got lost in all the choices  but what how I listen is on the "studio released" cd's primarily. I listen to RM off and on at work all day, so whatever they happen to be playing is what I listen to. I also have a few concert cd's of the shows I've been to that I listen to for special occassions.

I usually have RM playing in the background all day as I work at my desk. I've listened to it so much that I can't remember what JB music I actually own. Sometimes I go looking for particular tunes and realize I only get to hear them on RM.

As an aside, I liked RM better before sirius. There seemed to be a better balance of reggae, off the beaten path stuff. Actually there seemed to be less of it, which suited my taste. I just have to turn it off more often now. Probably not what they want to hear.

I try to listen to RM all day during work, but I have pulled out of my office for the next couple weeks to work on a system conversion. I have 4 of 6 cd's in my car(the other 2 are what my kids like) that are JB.

Granted, I am a new member of the phlock and a new listener to Radio Margaritaville, but I enjoy RM more now then before it was on Sirius. In fact, before it went to Sirius, I didn't listen except for Buffett Buffet and the concert replays. Now it's on all day at work and sometimes at home too. I'm contemplating getting Sirius just so I can listen to it in the car as well. I like the format better. I think they play more JB now then before and I love it. Yes they do have some repetition, but not near as much as the commercialized stations. Just my $.02 but I enjoy RM alot better post-Sirius.

I've been meaning to ask you, does he give a shout-out to you in TTS during Fruitcakes, before the song actually starts, he says something like "So for all those parrotheads...high up in the balcony there, watch out now, it takes one to know one...?"

I will listen to a few studio, a few live, and a few compilations.

We have two 400 CD changers linked together, one is dedicated to Buffett and Buffettesque type music. We put those babies on Juke Box random mode with no delay and let em spin. We have every thing that Buffett has put on CD plus tons of compilations, Buffett covers, and Buffett cameos on other peoples albums (cds). I love our linked 400 CD changers. We are about 25 CDs away from needing to step up to a 3rd CD unit.

Usually it's a random mix of what we have ripped on the computer so it's a mix of all the cds we have.
