Would you visit the North or South Pole?
If you were given the chance to go to either one, would you go? Say everything was paid for and arranged.
This is a serious question about going some place that is as alien to most people as the surface of the moon or another planet...
Did you know there are parrotheads in Antartica?
It is not about hating cold or loving tropical weather..... it is just simple question of would you visit there if you had a chance. If yes, why would you like to. If no, why not (besides the usual IT IS TOO FRIGGING BLEPING COLD!!!!)

That is KEWL and I was not aware of that. The only flights that I am aware of, that actually land there, are military flights.. Thxz for the info!creeky wrote:They occasionally have flights from Australia to the South Pole and back - no stopping, just a flyover and back - that is how I think I would go to the South Pole - no intention of getting out and freezing!
