I just tuned in my daily lunch time Buffett buffet, and they are playing a concert replay.

I think I like the Buffett buffet better.

I like the way they do it now. Most days Buffett Buffet, Thursdays (i.e., getting ready for the weekend) a concert replay. But then again, it may just be habit!

I like the buffet better, myself.

At work I like the Buffett Buffet since I can only listen for little while.

But at home I prefer the concert replays!

A big part of the reason I am a ParrotHead is the live show. The first JB CD I listened to in its entirety was Feeding Frenzy and I still hold true to those roots.

Would like the Buffett Buffet better if they'd bring back the rare and unreleased tracks that they promised us.

Even so, I have all of the music from the Buffet, but getting unreleased concerts in near CD quality is a dream come true. Concert replays for me.

the buffet is cool, but I like hearing the concerts because you get the individual flavor and feel of each show. You can't get that by listening to Boats to Build from LTC. I'm not knocking songs from the albums, but compare them to the live versions and, to me, they're just not as good.

I enjoy both but I have to say I prefer live concerts. It makes me feel like I'm there which is one of my fave places in the world to be....at a jb concert!

Tough to choose one or the other. You can't go wrong either way. However, as much as I love listening to concert replays, Buffett RARELY plays his older, less popular songs in concert. Gotta play to the lowest common denominator. It's for this reason that I prefer the buffets by a very slim margin.

But I dont have all those concerts hes been doing for, oh gosh, what is it now, close to 40 years?

So I voted for the good ol replays.

I like the concert replays a lot, but prefer Buffett Buffet.

We'll see what we get in a little bit here, since it is almost time for the Sunday Buffett Buffet.

My favorite part of RM will always be the live concerts. If they happen to broadcast the one on Thursday at the Fillmore, that should be a really special one. Looking forward to the live shows soon!

Concert replays all the way. Actually, it's the only time I put RM on (of course the live shows too). The Buffet can be heard on the other 6 afternoons.

definitely replays. i especially enjoy the shows pre-1996 (my first show was august '96 Camden). I enjoy hearing how the songs have evolved and how his set list has evolved.
