It's the dry season.. what's your prefered chapped-lips deterrant?

If it's something else, share.

How sad! I hate that!

I loved the jasmine scented lotions and stuff that used to be available at Bath & Body Works... they discontinued that too! I'm afraid to get product-attached any more!

I can't believe I forgot BurtsBees in my list though... that's totally what I have in my purse.

Carmex.

It's the only one that comes with a money back gaurantee.

YES! That's what I was gonna say next...Burts Bees....also good stuff. Their salve....can't remember what it's called....but it's for minor cuts, etc....it works wonders....for real. No BS. First hand.

Body shop stuff is awesome.....they have a few discontinued items I liked...like their banana shampoo/conditioner...... :-?

I have run so many tubes of burts thru the laundry... and it all washes back out! I'm impressed!

I currently love the tinted lip moisturizers... whatever the glisten-y pink one is...

and the almond milk hand cream... O.M.F.G.

Yummy.

last year I saw a news report about how the majority of lip balms can actually make your lips worse because of the thickness of the balm. It actually traps bacteria that makes your lips worse. The report said to use vasoline and that's it. At the time I saw it my lips were very chapped and nothing was working so I bought some and tried it. Never again will I use lip balm.
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

with that I'll say that truly I believe that if you drink enough H2O that you will not have a problem with chapped lips. (obviously with a few exceptions) but really water is a cure-all for a lot of things......

I thought that might have been my problem so I increased my water intake. A week later I still had the chapped lip thing going.

Do you think more time might help? Maybe coming from a humidity intensive part of the country do you think it might mean that it could take a little longer to acclimate? (I can't wait to meet *not meat* you BTW!!!!!) :D :D

We dont get extreme weather here - so on the one or two occasions a year that I need it, I go for just plain old chapstick .. or if cannot find that little stick in my backpack - the vaso :)
