Lip Balm
It's the dry season.. what's your prefered chapped-lips deterrant?
If it's something else, share.

How sad! I hate that!island_hopper wrote:I used to use the Body Shop's honey stick........but I just learned that it's discontinued.....![]()
It's good stuff..........
I loved the jasmine scented lotions and stuff that used to be available at Bath & Body Works... they discontinued that too! I'm afraid to get product-attached any more!
I can't believe I forgot BurtsBees in my list though... that's totally what I have in my purse.

last year I saw a news report about how the majority of lip balms can actually make your lips worse because of the thickness of the balm. It actually traps bacteria that makes your lips worse. The report said to use vasoline and that's it. At the time I saw it my lips were very chapped and nothing was working so I bought some and tried it. Never again will I use lip balm.
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

with that I'll say that truly I believe that if you drink enough H2O that you will not have a problem with chapped lips. (obviously with a few exceptions) but really water is a cure-all for a lot of things......ph4ever wrote:last year I saw a news report about how the majority of lip balms can actually make your lips worse because of the thickness of the balm. I thought that might have been my problem so I increased my water intake. A week later I still had the chapped lip thing going.

Do you think more time might help? Maybe coming from a humidity intensive part of the country do you think it might mean that it could take a little longer to acclimate? (I can't wait to meet *not meat* you BTW!!!!!)ph4ever wrote:island_hopper wrote:with that I'll say that truly I believe that if you drink enough H2O that you will not have a problem with chapped lips.
