It actually traps bacteria that makes your lips worse. The report said to use vasoline and that's it. At the time I saw it my lips were very chapped and nothing was working so I bought some and tried it. Never again will I use lip balm.
with that I'll say that truly I believe that if you drink enough H2O that you will not have a problem with chapped lips. (obviously with a few exceptions) but really water is a cure-all for a lot of things......

I thought that might have been my problem so I increased my water intake. A week later I still had the chapped lip thing going.
Do you think more time might help? Maybe coming from a humidity intensive part of the country do you think it might mean that it could take a little longer to acclimate? (I can't wait to meet *not meat* you BTW!!!!!) :D :D
I know me too!!!

But this happened last year before I moved.
YAY!! 13 days! :D :D
H2O has worked in the past for me........and yes.....vaseline too!!.......yes! :D

Anyway.... I swear by Carmex... and the original stuff in the "pot" seems to be better than the tube.... I always did want to try Burts Bees tho...

Blistex during the day, Carmex at night.

have never used the Burt's Bees products and don't think I can-they all contain coconut oil and I am allergic to coconut :( And, years ago, my mother used a lipstick that was a beeswax base and the next day her face was so swollen that she could not open her eyes--that has always made me hesitant about a beeswax product.

I hate putting something on my lips unless it's a beautiful woman's lips.

Well I just did a little searching on Burt's website, and found some stores in the area that carry their stuff, so I'm gonna give it a try. :)

You won't be sorry.

I was a dyed-in-the-wool Carmex/Blistex girl, but Burt's Bees changed all that.

Plus, it lasts forever. I just replace my phirst tubes (purchased over a year ago) this week!

The tinted ones are cool, but I use the regular one more. :D

Enjoy!
