i can talk in front of a large group of strangers, hold a snake or lizard, stomp on a giant spider..
But I just can't get myself into the dentist. I put it off so long and then i'm even more afraid of going.
I have a broken tooth, caused by my habit of chewing ice. It will most likely need to be pulled, surgically. And I just can't do it. I cancel appointments, hyperventilate, etc. I really need to go in and get all the dental work caught up before the benefit year is over.
Is this anybody else's fear?

I ain't askeered of nuffin!!!

Although, drowning isn't high on my list!!

I hate anything near my eyes.
I have a fear of suffocating in my sleep.
Spiders, don't like'em and I hate getting their webs on me.
Snakes, if I don't know what they are.

won't be able to eat much if I don't go to the dentist.
But then again beer and milkshakes have alot of calories.

I'm a HORRIBLE dental patient!!!

My dentist gives me nitros and then I'm not scared at all.

oh I hate the thought of sharing personal stuff. I meant toiletries. I keep my washrags seperate, have liquid soap, and hide my toothbrush. Remember, I have twin 17 yo sons. They're not the most discriminate in their hygiene, by my standards anyway.
And suffocating is a fear too. That is one of the reasons dentists bother me.

not exactly a fear, but the C-word comes to mind.

My biggest fear is that something bad will happen to one of my cats when I am away on trips.

Speaking in front of adults. (kids dont' bother me)

Giving blood or having blood taken from my body

Seeing Brad Lidge come in to pitch.

Anything in the bee family.. hate 'em...

Otherwise, most anything that buzzes and flies near my eyes or ears..

I have a good friend who is exactly the same about the dentist and has to be "put under" even to have her teeth cleaned.

Yeah, I can't even sleep in a shirt or on my stomach. There's no way I could handle that contraption.

Having the keets I do, they were the praying and science kind...not the oops kind. I worry constantly that something or someone will hurt them. I try to control it and allow them to lead "normal" lives but man...those are MY kids! (Okay, James helpd some but the hard work was all ME)

Hurt me. Mame me...touch my kid and I breaka you face! Like a mama bear.

Moths .. no kidding .. and they are coming .... they are not far off their annual plague proportion ... HELP ME .....

I don't know what it is but I'm terrified of even the smallest garter snake. I'm 6'3" and I scream like a little school girl. I think it's the lack of arms and legs. The only thing that I like with a neck and no limbs is a nice cold beer!
