Ever feel like you missed your calling?

Post by 3/4 Time »

I should have stayed in Idaho working with horses. I could have been a hard core cowboy by now. Course, broken down body like my Bros but I am GOOD with them still. Just an occaisional trainer now but still got the touch!

Did you miss your calling and what was it????

I am still a doctor in my heart even tho I decided against medical school while in college. I think that is why I do youth and community service, it all stems from an internal need to serve ...

Kind of along the same lines of you, I really feel as though I would have been good at and happy working with horses. Too many broken bones says otherwise :( But I am happy being crafty for a living.

I've always wanted to work with people with special needs. I am drawn to organizations that deal with these special folks. I sometimes regret not establishing a career in this field. Maybe some day.....

Wanted to be an English teacher. 1/2 way through my senior year of high school I moved with my parents from IL to CO. Tuition too high to try to go to college in CO or IL.. so I started working instead. Regret? A little. But it's turned out ok. :)

Majored in communications in college I wanted to be a broadcaster. That dream ended when the money ran out along with me suffering from burnout after 2 years.

I still would love to get into it at some point in time just need to know the right people and have enough time after work to dedicate myself to it.

I feel that way everyday. That's why I'm working on changing things for once.
