Point Loma
I just recently came from San Diego and the highlight of my trip was Point Loma. We were there at the exact time that the USS Ronald Reagan was departing and it was very cool. If animals are your thing though you must visit the Wild Animal Park. Not only do you get to have a unique experience, the wildlife outside the fence is quite unique also.
