It's not a presidential election year...will you still vote?

What are the issues in your area right now?

The big one in Colorado is a vote on referendums that will reduce income tax refunds to give more money to school and nature.

And yes, I'll vote (actually already have by mail).

I'm actually a resident of the State of Confusion & Disarray. They don't allow us to vote there.

Yeah, I'll vote - gives me an excuse to be late for work.

Just a few local offices up for grabs around here.

Since the TV stations in the Philly area also serve south Jersey, we're seeing lots of ads for the NJ governor's race. Near as I can tell the major issue is which one is Satan and which one is the Antichrist.

For real. I don't think either of them have any points for which they stand other than "Make my opponent cry."

I work in politics, so it's in my best interests to go to the polls every chance I get. :)

Too bad McGreevey isn't still in office. I can lick any man in the race.

That made for some of the best Lewis Black material I've ever heard.

I want no limitations on by right to complain about the local politicians, so I rarely miss an election.

I serve as an election judge, and vote in every election, but we don't have any here until March.

actually the suburbs, and a few years ago they combined our off-year elections into one instead of two---in March the vote was for city representatives, park and library districts and school boards and the turnout was well under 20% so I am relieved that they have been combined into one election instead of two!

I always vote in every election, apart from the fact it is compulsory and you will get a 50.00 fine if you dont, I believe everyone should vote and have their say in who runs the place - or shut up
