Hi Folks,
Some good news and some not so good news...
Good news first, The sound and stage is fine so we are all set there...
Not so good news is that the Casa Marina's main power transformer was under
two feet of water... The plan is to dry it out for the rest of today and try
to fire it up. If they have power, we are one step closer to MOTM...
I am also waiting for a meeting Emergency Management team from Key West to
see if the City can indeed handle 4000 people. If they give me the go we are
even one more step closer to MOTM...
These are two huge issues that I hope to have resolved by mid Thursday... I
know you are all antsy and I have had well over 800 emails asking me
individual questions. Needless to say, they are not being answered. I still have a
full time job and a million other things going on so please DON'T take offense
to me not responding...
The fact that Eva posted she was on her way to Key West has no bearing on
the decision of if MOTM will take place. She was going to Fantasy Fest anyway
and will help me with some first hand stuff until I get to Key West... Even if
MOTM is canceled, there are a few of us that have to go to take care of
business...
So, to summarize, we had three major roadblocks to clear before we can call
MOTM a go. Since yesterday, I have cleared one of those road blocks...
Drifty set up a link at _www.phip.com_ (http://www.phip.com) to these
updates so please check there if you have any questions. I will continue to update
you through the lists also...
Thanks PLEASE send that good Mojo towards the Casa Marina's electrical
system...
