last night we had a bit of snow mixed in with the 2 TONS of rain from the nor'easter. i guess the nor'easter season is offically upon us now.

No....it was 40 night before last...that is only 8 degrees above freezing..and NNW winds gusting to 30 mph..and dark..and pouring down rain...It was bitter..

Especially since Friday we were in sundresses...sandals..and it was 86 degrees...

I am not liking this at all.......

and yeah...I am doing a bit of waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.......




But I just hate being cold...

I finally bought one last year...a wool one....

I just hate that I need it....I'll stop complaining so much after it has been cold for a little while..but that first hit of Winter just irritates me...

and the weird thing about here..is ..you never know when you are going to get a week of 80 degree weather in between..It's 28 at night one week..and 70 the next....

So you have to keep all your clothes out..year round.....I'll be better..and quit bitchin...it could be worse..I know.....sorry...

But I still miss June....

Y'all know what I mean... You put the heat on for the first time and it burns off the dust that's collected on the whateveryacallits all summer, and smells like the house is going to burn down for about 20 mins.

Me too. Son had soccer games last two nights, and it was cold on that field. 'Course I didn't wear a coat, that would have helped. It just seems obscene to go from tank tops and shorts to winter coat in one or two days. No worries: it will be hot come December, and we'll all be wishing it would cool off again and get us in the mood for Christmas.

Ok Bonnie..I got the coat at Burlingtons in Charleston....it's just about to my ankles..probably supposed to be mid calf on a "taller" person...

and I will not be wishing it was cold in December..I have a palm tree for a Christmas tree...

and a hammock for the gifts...

I love days off...almost noon and I am just now waking up enough to cook breakfast....

We haven't turned the heat on yet, but every January we wonder if we have moved far enough south and start to consider a move to the islands!
